Anthony Ramos, Corey Hawkins and Leslie Grace star in this adaptation of the Broadway musical created by Lin-Manuel Miranda. In the diverse Manhattan neighbourhood of Washington Heights, bodega owner Usnavi de la Vega (Ramos) dreams of returning to his native Dominican Republic to restore his late father’s bar while attempting to romance Vanessa (Melissa Barrera), who works at the local nail salon but aspires to become a fashion designer downtown.
