The first seven episodes of the Japanese anime directed by Yoshiyuki Fujiwara. 18-year-old Tsukasa Mizugaki (voice of Yasuaki Takumi) works with the Sion Artificial Intelligence Corporation where human androids, known as Giftias, live alongside humans but are only given short pre-determined lifespans. Tsukasa’s job is to retrieve these models once they near the end of their lifespan. However, when he is paired with the well-regarded Giftia Isla (Sora Amamiya), Tsukasa falls in love with her and has difficulty accepting her fate.
