Finally, in ‘Titus Andronicus’ (2017), David Troughton plays the role of the Roman army general who sacrifices the eldest son of Tamora Queen of the Goths (Nia Gwynne) to avenge his sons who were killed in war. Tamora plots her own scheme for revenge while Titus refuses to become the new emperor, a decision which has tragic consequences.
